We are going to Batu
today. Batu is a city located about 20 km to the northwest of Malang. We left my aunt's house in Surabaya at 09.00 in
the morning, after breakfast. Our journey to Batu took about 2-3 hours. On our way, we visited Depot 29 a famous
restaurant at Singosari, North Malang. The specialty of Depot 29 is goat’s
ribs medicinal soup and rawon - a traditional Indonesian beef soup, and that’s our lunch today :-)

We arrived at Batu at about
13.00. We checked in at Pohon Inn Hotel, a hotel with a tree architectural
theme. The room was standard, however, the highlight was its strategic location, Pohon Inn Hotel lies between Batu Secret Zoo and Museum Satwa. Pohon Inn Hotel also located close to Museum Angkut, Batu Night Spectacular (BNS) and Eco Park which is an integrated cluster
of famous recreational park in the area.

After tidied up a bit, we are ready
for Museum Angkut.
Here, we can learn about history of public transportation all over the world:
from rickshaws from China to taxi in England. The museum has also complete
collection of classical cars and replica’s of cars used by famous figures all
over the world. We found so many good photo spots location here.

After dinner at the hotel, we went to Batu Night Spectacular (BNS). BNS is a recreational park that opens from 15.00 to 23.00 on weekdays and until 24.00 on the weekends. It is a romantic and cool recreational park :-)) with many attraction (lantern garden, 4D cinema, go-kart, night market, dancing fountain, glass house, etc) and good photo spots. We visited the glass house, took so many photos at a beautiful lantern garden, passed by a night market and food court, and then went back to the hotel.
